FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I really have access to all the apps in Odoo?

Yes. For every paid user license you can download and use all Odoo apps.

What's included in the subscription?

All plans include access to hundreds of Odoo apps on scalable cloud infrastructure: hosting, incremental daily backups on two continents, email integration, top-notch security, 24/7 monitoring, and a control center to manage your Odoo environment.

What's not included?

In-App-Purchase credits (SMS, contacts auto-complete, lead generation, AI to scan vendor bills and expenses) and maintenance of custom code.

What is the difference between the Standard and Custom plan?

The Custom plan is for companies that want to manage multiple companies on a single database and need to customise Odoo through Odoo Studio, custom developments, or the external API.

How do you define a user license?

A paying user is an employee with access to the Odoo backend to create, view or edit documents — for example, an employee reporting expenses, or a third-party accountant working on your finances. External users such as customers and suppliers using the portal, or visitors placing eCommerce orders, are free.

What does External API mean?

External API means external software (legacy systems, reporting engines) initiates calls to the Odoo API (JSON-RPC or XML-RPC) to query or update data in Odoo. Calls initiated from Odoo — payment providers, delivery carriers, VoIP, bank sync — are part of the Standard plan.
