PT Multi Palma Sejahtera is a major player in Indonesia's palm oil industry, operating plantations and mills from its base in Pekanbaru, Riau. As the business grew, its operations — especially around the weighbridge system — outgrew what off-the-shelf software could handle.
The development of a custom module for our palm oil mills has been particularly noteworthy, enabling precise tracking of our operations and direct integration with our accounting systems for real-time financial insight.
The Challenge
As Multi Palma grew into a dynamic, multifaceted business, it needed a sophisticated ERP to manage rapid growth and complex operations — particularly its manufacturing activities centred on the weighbridge system. The company needed to enhance workflows, improve inter-departmental collaboration, and ensure data integrity and compliance across its plantations and mills.
Our Solution
Omnisoft, led by head functional consultant Willy Tanuwiharja, guided Multi Palma through a smooth transition to Odoo. We developed a custom module for their palm oil mills — integrating their weighbridge and IoT devices for precise operational tracking and direct integration with their accounting systems for real-time financial insight. We also enhanced their inventory management, payroll, and financial reporting. Crucially, training was delivered in Bahasa Indonesia, ensuring seamless adoption across the team.
